Despite its size and growth potential, the City of Vaughan does not have a major health care facility located within its boundaries. Vaughan’s residents and businesses rely on health care facilities located in adjacent municipalities. With the City’s rapid growth, it will be important to ensure that the people of Vaughan will continue to have convenient access to the medical facilities necessary to sustain a healthy, competitive and vibrant community.
